Lynn VerbekeSenior Consultant & Team Leader EU

Lynn obtained two master’s degrees, first in Biomedical engineering from the University of Gent (Belgium) and then in Bioinformatics from the KU Leuven (Belgium). After her studies, she moved to Switzerland to start an internship in a proteomics company and soon took up a full-time role within the bioinformatics team. Together with her colleagues, Lynn developed software for analysis of proteomics data. Among others, she followed through her internship project which became a standalone commercial software product.

As a Team Leader at BISC Global, Lynn is supporting junior consultants and managing projects. With her technical background she is also helping our team to establish best practices for using tools that facilitate programming and collaborating in teams.

“I like working with data, and spending a whole day of coding without distractions. But I also really enjoy teaching people and as a Team Leader at BISC I’m happy to be helping and guiding my junior colleagues.”

Lynn makes the best of her Swiss address and spends her free time hiking, swimming in lakes and skiing in the surrounding mountains. She also really enjoys cooking and eating.
